When we think of classic Halloween makeup it’s the vampire, the ghost and the zombie bride. But, let’s be real, they’re all missing that essence of glamour and beauty (we’re looking at you, Cady from Mean Girls). Enter the Scream Queen, with vibes of the old Alfred Hitchcock movies and Hollywood icons like Grace Kelly and Tipi Hedron

So, we got makeup artist Cassie Lomas in to show you how to create this beautiful Hollywood Scream Queen makeup look at home this Halloween. Follow the steps:

1. Get your scream on

Cover your face with the NIP+FAB Light Mixer Foundation using a blending sponge. Apply a second coat for an extra sheet of white.

3. Now brows

Using the MUA Black Eyebrow Pencil, draw in bold and dramatic brows. Brush through to add fluffiness.

4. Waterline wash

Give your lower waterline a wash of white with MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil in Snow White.

5. Ash and bones

Contour the cheeks and forehead with MUA Matte Mono Eyeshadow in Smoke Black. Use a blending sponge to soften the colours together.

6. Luxury lashes

Add a bold lash with a thick spine, this creates an eyeliner effect without having to use any. Blend your natural lashes and false ones together using mascara.

7. Hollywood eyes

Add a liquid eyeliner into the inner corner of your eyes to create a dramatic point. MUA Wet Look Liquid Eyeliner in Black works perfectly for this!

8. Pucker-up

Outline the lips using MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil in Jet Black. Then lightly apply MUA Matte Lipstick in Raven. To add dimension to the lips, add a spot of the NIP+FAB Light Mixer Foundation to the middle of the lip and dab to soften the colours.
