How To: Harlequin Halloween Look
Step 1: Powder your nose (and face)
Start with a blank canvas – literally – by applying white face paint and powder all over. Brush on black powder/eyeshadow in circles focusing on your cheeks, inner brows and end of your nose.
Step 2: Go black on your lips
Paint your lips using a black liner or powder, starting from your outline and building up the colour until you have a bold black-hued pout.
Step 3: Get arty
At the corners of your mouth, start the outline of a stich-effect using black face paint. Once you’re happy with your design on either side, fill it using black gloss.
Step 4: Stars in your eyes
Using a scrap piece of paper, cut out a star shape – this will act as your stencil. Lightly place over your eye and dab on grey metallic eyeshadow/powder using a big fluffy brush. Layer it up and repeat on the other side until you can see the stars taking shape. Add a few face gems to your forehead for extra sparkle.
Step 5: Finishing touches
Finish your look with a clear gloss over your lips. Add false lashes to make your eyes pop. And paint over your brows, using a thin black line over your natural shape.
