Beach Bride

Whether you're jetting off to sunnier climates for your big day or just banking on the British weather, this sun-kissed beach bride look features wavy hair, bronze eyes and a golden glow.

How to get the look, step by step...

  1. Cover dark circles with a light reflecting concealer.  Apply in a dabbing motion using a brush or your ring finger.
  2. Apply a fine layer of foundation using a foundation brush for a smooth, even finish.
  3. Swirl on loose or pressed translucent powder.  This will help your base to stay put all day!
  4. Use a bronze eyeshadow (powder or cream) with metallic pigment over the eyelid.
  5. Using a brush, smudge until smoky.
  6. Line the top and bottom eyelids with a brown or black pencil.  Go inside the waterline on the bottom for a really dramatic look.
  7. Apply volumising mascara in brown or black.
  8. Fill in eyebrows with a pencil or powder shade that matches their natural colour - you don't want them to look too "done".
  9. Dust on bronzer over the face, concentrating on the areas the sun would naturally hit: forehead, nose and cheeks.
  10. Line lips with a nude pencil and finish with a nude or coral colour.

Hollywood Glamour

Add a touch of old school glam to your wedding day with a bold red lip and sultry feline eyes. This look is perfect if your dress has vintage influences.

How to get the look, step by step...

  1. Conceal dark shadows with an illuminating concealer under the eyes.  Use a concealer brush or your finger in a light, dabbing motion until fully blended.
  2. Using a foundation brush, dot a matte foundation over the whole face and blend, making you sure you continue coverage past the jawline for a more natural look.
  3. Using a large eye shadow brush, apply a natural, shimmery shadow over the whole socket.
  4. Apply liquid or gel eyeliner in a deep black to the outer half of the lash line, starting in the middle and creating a thick line that finishes in a flick.
  5. Add lashings of black mascara.
  6. Fill and shape brows.  You should be looking to achieve a thick eyebrow with a defined arch - those with paler eyebrows may like to choose a shade slightly darker than their natural colour to make your brows stand out.
  7. Line the lips with a bold red shade, then fill in with a matching lipstick.  Using a lip brush will help you to get dense, even coverage and a precise finish.

Traditional Beauty

Traditional brides will love this classic look, with natural lips, glowing skin and a defined eye.  Complemented with a soft up do, this understated look is both timeless and elegant.

How to get the look, step by step...

  1. Dab on plenty of concealer under the eyes to banish dark circles - the key to this look is flawless, radiant skin.
  2. Buff foundation into the skin until a perfect, even complexion is achieved.
  3. Apply a natural beige eye shadow to the whole socket.
  4. Add a slightly darker eye shadow under the eye to define the bottom lash line.
  5. Draw a narrow line of liquid eyeliner in brown or black onto the top lash line, finishing with a small flick.
  6. Apply mascara - using a zig zag motion will stop lashes clumping and keep the look natural.
  7. Shape brows using a brow brush or comb and fill in any sparse areas with a natural shade of powder.
  8. Dust on a little blusher in a peach or pinky nude shade.
  9. Complete the look with a nude gloss over the lips.

Playful Princess

The girliest of brides will love this pretty look, where the focus is bright eyes and a pale pink lip, complemented with dewy skin.

How to get the look, step by step...

  1. Use an illuminating concealer to cover under eye circles.  Dab some in the inner corner of each eye to make eyes sparkle.
  2. Use a natural liquid foundation to create a dewy finish on the face.
  3. Apply a light eye shadow in a pale gold or silver over the whole socket - again dab some into the corners of your eyes.
  4. Use a slightly dark shade on the outer 2/3 of the eye, and blend thoroughly using a brush.
  5. Add a fine line of liquid eyeliner to the top lashes, keeping as close to the lashes as possible.
  6. Roll on mascara, ensuring all lashes are coated.  Curling eyelashes before application will help to made eyes looks wide and bright.
  7. Finish with a pale pink lipstick or gloss for a perfectly pretty pout!
