What Will I Need to Achieve Hair Twists?
Conditioner
Wide-toothed comb

Make sure your hair is conditioned and moisturised. When applying conditioner, focus on the ends and make your way up to the roots, distributing the product evenly.
Step 2: Brush through your hair using a wide-toothed comb
Using a wide-toothed comb, brush through your hair making sure there are no knots or tangles. Start at the ends and work your way towards the roots. If it’s easier, work in sections.
Step 3: Part your hair
Use a tail comb to part your hair. You can section in the middle or go for a side parting. If you have decided on a side parting, part on the side at the front, bring the parting to the centre and part in the middle at the back.

Step 2: Pass the hair from one hand to the other
