Standard Terms & Conditions for Health & Beautycard Instagram Prize Draw – Nominate Your Hero

  1. Entry to Superdrug’s prize draw run via Instagram (the “Prize Draw”) is open to GB residents aged 16 and over, except employees of Superdrug Stores plc (“Superdrug”) or any related companies, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw.
  3. To enter the Prize Draw, you must:
    1. follow @Superdrug;
    2. like the relevant Prize Draw Instagram post;
    3. nominate your ‘key worker hero’ by tagging them in the comments section and explaining why they are your ‘hero’;
    4. use the #SuperdrugHeroes;
    on Superdrug’s Instagram page by 23.59 on 26/04/2020 (“Closing Date”).
  4. Nominated ‘hero’ must have a registered Instagram account and a valid Superdrug Health & Beauty Card which must be registered by the time of the Closing Date for the entry to be valid.
  5. There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries or entries that are delivered late, are illegible, incomplete, damaged or otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted. Entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.
  6. There will be 10 nominated ‘heroes’ who will receive a prize (the “Winners”).
  7. The Winners will each receive £25 worth of Health & Beauty card points.
  8. The Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries by 26/04/2020 and notified by 27/04/2020 by direct message.
  9. Unless otherwise stated, the Winners must claim their prize within 7 days of notification. If they do not do so, then Superdrug reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  10. Entrants will not be able to provide their nominated ‘heroes’ personal details, which may include their Health & Beauty card number to Superdrug. Winners will be required to notify Superdrug of their details directly within 7 days of notification. If they do not do so or are unwilling to do so, Superdrug reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  11. The prize will be credited to the Winners Health & Beauty card within 28 days of the Winners claiming their prize and providing their details to Superdrug.
  12. Any decision of Superdrug as to eligibility to take part in the Prize Draw or the result of the Prize Draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Superdrug accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, late, delayed, lost, damaged or illegible whether due to failure or non-availability of www.instagram.com or any other reason.
  13. There is no cash alternative to the prize.
  14. Superdrug reserves the right (but is not obliged) to substitute an alternative to any of the prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
  15. Superdrug reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Prize Draw.
  16. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions and Instagram’s terms of service.
  17. The Winners’ surnames and counties will be available on request for one month after the prize(s) have been claimed by sending an email to marketing@superdrug.com. Entrants may object to the disclosure of this information by sending an email to marketing@superdrug.com by 04/05/2020 . The information shall nevertheless be made available to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
  18. All entrants confirm that they are the creators and owners of the image/text/prize draw entry which they submit as part of the Prize Draw. Entrants agree that they have obtained the necessary consents, including permission from any third parties featuring in the entry.
  19. By entering the Prize Draw, all entrants assign their rights and interests in the entry to Superdrug. Superdrug may use the entry for their own purposes, including the right to adapt the entry and to use it for commercial gain including but not limited to featuring the image/text/prize draw entry in email communications and across Superdrug social media platforms.
  20. By entering the Prize Draw, all entrants and Winners agree that their personal data will be used by Superdrug for the sole purpose of administering the Prize Draw and in accordance with Superdrug’s Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy can be found at www.superdrug.com/page/privacypolicy.

  4. How to participate:

In addition, the Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to reject those claims which it considers, in its absolute discretion, are fraudulent or invalid.
  11. Your claim will be deemed invalid if (including but not limited to) you:
    • Are not an eligible Member (as detailed in clause 1 above);
    • Have not claimed your chosen Gift via your unique link within the Promotional Period;
    • Have not redeemed your Gift by the Gift specific redemption end date as stipulated in clause 3.
    • Have failed in any way to otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions or any corresponding partner Terms and Conditions as determined by The Promoter or the Administrator in its sole discretion.
  12. The Promoter and the Administrator reserves the right to replace any Gifts with one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond its control.
  13. The Gifts are not for re-sale, have no cash value, cannot be auctioned or exchanged and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Gifts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. Unused, expired and redeemed Gifts cannot be refunded, exchanged or returned.
  14. Any additional costs which may be incurred in this promotion in the context of participation or claiming the Gift, such as internet costs, extras / upgrades, travel, and other additional services that go beyond those described services for the Gift fulfilment are not included in the Gifts and must be paid by Members separately.
  15. Insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the Administrator, nor its associated companies, will be responsible or liable to compensate the Member, or accept any liability, for any personal loss or injury occurring whilst using the Gifts, neither can they guarantee the quality and / or availability of the services offered when using the Gifts and cannot be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
  16. The Administrator is responsible for fulfilling the gifts. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. Any data captured in the fulfilment of the promotion by the Administrator will only be used for validation and fulfilment of claims, unless the Administrator has your consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential. Data will be stored for up to one (1) month from the end of the redemption period (29th March 2020), after which it will deleted. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to lets.talk@tlcmarketing.com.

  18. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  19. These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by the laws of England and Wales and eligible Members irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  4. How to participate:
    • Eligible Members will receive an email which will contain details of the Gifts available to be won, a unique claim code and a link to access ‘Bright Friday Treat’ website.
    • Members must follow the link to the ‘Bright Friday Treat’ website and will be directed to enter their claim code in order to find what  ’Bright Friday Treat’ they have won.
    • Once revealed, Members must provide the following information to be sent their gift: Full name, Email address, and confirmed Email address. Upon successfully submitting their details, Members will  be emailed their Gift voucher within 48 hours. Members will then be able to redeem their Gift voucher via the individual Gift redemption routes (see below).

National Beauty and Wellness route: Member will need to visit the national beauty and wellness website (https://www.wellnessoffer.co.uk) and enter their code to access the list of participating venues and sessions across the UK. Once a Member has accessed the listing and selected their chosen venue / session, they will be able to download a voucher for that chosen session. Members will then need to contact their chosen venue and book their session. Members will have 6 months to take their free session from the point of claiming the voucher.
  5. Number of Gifts available: The following  number of Gifts are available to be won over the promotional period:
    • A free Costa Coffee hot drink: 2000 available to be won
    • A one month free Yogaia membership: 60,000 available to be won
    • A free Beauty & Wellness session:  100,000 available to be won
  6. Gift allocation: Gifts will be allocated at random throughout the Promotional Period; the frequency of which will depend on the number of claims in any given day and the number of gifts available as detailed in clause 5.
  7. No purchase is necessary for the chance to win a Gift.
  8. 1 claim per eligible Member.
  9. Each voucher / voucher code is single use and can only be used to claim the corresponding Gift once.
  10. The Promoter and the Administrator accept no responsibility for any claims that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, lost, damaged, delayed or fail to reach the Administrator.
  11. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to require Members to provide further verification as to proof of their membership. In addition, the Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to reject those claims which it considers, in its absolute discretion, are fraudulent or invalid.
  12. Your claim will be deemed invalid if (including but not limited to) you:
    • Are not an eligible Member (as detailed in clause 1 above);
    • Have not used your claim code within the Promotional Period;
    • Have not redeemed your Gift by 31st January 2020;
    • Have failed in any way to otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions or any corresponding partner Terms and Conditions as determined by The Promoter or the Administrator in its sole discretion.
  13. The Promoter and the Administrator reserves the right to replace any Gifts with one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond its control.
  14. The Gifts are not for re-sale, have no cash value, cannot be auctioned or exchanged and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Gifts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. Unused, expired and redeemed Gifts cannot be refunded, exchanged or returned.
  15. Any additional costs which may be incurred in this promotion in the context of participation or claiming the Gift, such as internet costs, extras / upgrades, travel, and other additional services that go beyond those described services for the Gift fulfilment are not included in the Gifts and must be paid by Members separately.
  16. Insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the Administrator, nor its associated companies, will be responsible or liable to compensate the Member, or accept any liability, for any personal loss or injury occurring whilst using the Gifts, neither can they guarantee the quality and / or availability of the services offered when using the Gifts and cannot be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
  17. The Administrator is responsible for fulfilling the gifts. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. Any data captured in the fulfilment of the promotion by the Administrator will only be used for validation and fulfilment of claims, unless the Administrator has your consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential. Data will be stored for up to one (1) month from the end of the redemption period (31st January 2020), after which it will deleted. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to lets.talk@tlcmarketing.com.

  19. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  20. These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by the laws of England and Wales and eligible Members irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Terms and Conditions for Prize Draws run via Facebook

  1. The Facebook prize draw run via Facebook (the “Prize Draw”) is open to UK residents aged 16 and over, except employees of Superdrug Stores plc (“Superdrug”) or any related companies, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw.
  3. To enter the Prize Draw, go to www.facebook.com/superdrug and answer the question in the comments box below the relevant Prize Draw post.
  4. Entries must be received by 23:59 the date mentioned in the Facebook post.
  5. There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries or entries that are delivered late, are illegible, incomplete, damaged or otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted. Entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.
  6. There will be a specific number of winners and runners up as highlighted in the Facebook post
  7. The winner(s) will (each) receive the prize written in the Facebook post.
  8. The winner(s) will be selected at random from all eligible entries within 7 days of the closing date. The winner(s) will be notified:
    • in the comment box below the relevant Prize Draw post, where Superdrug will ask the winner(s) to check the ‘Other’ inbox
    • via direct message on Facebook
    • Superdrug will ask the winner(s) to email marketing@superdrug.com to claim the prize.
  9. Unless otherwise stated, the winner(s) must claim their prize(s) within 14 days of notification. If they do not do so, then Superdrug reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  10. By entering the Prize Draw you acknowledge that certain elements of the prize are outside of Superdrug’s control. Superdrug will not be liable for any such instances. 
  11. Any decision of Superdrug as to eligibility to take part in the Prize Draw or the result of the Prize Draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Superdrug accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, delayed, lost, damaged or illegible whether due to failure or non-availability of www.facebook.com or any other reason.
  12. There is no cash alternative to the prize(s).
  13. Prize images used are for visual purposes only. Alternative products, sizes or colours may be substituted for the items shown.
