Easy Halloween Makeup: Devil Duo

Step 1: Prep your face

To ensure your devil makeup Halloween look stays put while you party, apply primer all over the face using your fingers.

Step 2: Beautify your base

Blend in your favourite foundation using a foundation brush or a beauty sponge. For any areas that need an extra touch up, apply concealer and pat it in using a concealer brush.

To warm up the complexion, use a big, fluffy brush to apply bronzer to your cheekbones, jawline and the highpoints of the face.

Step 3: Get creative with red lipstick

For a look that screams ‘up to no good’, red lipstick will be your devil makeup must-have. To start, apply red lipstick to the back of your hand, swipe a flat eyeshadow brush into the lipstick and apply it to your eyelids.

Next, take a fluffy face brush, swirl it in the lipstick, apply it across the tops of the cheekbones.

To build up the red colour on your eyelids, use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to apply red face paint over both lids. Then, top with another layer of matte red eyeshadow to set the pigment in place.

And finally, sweep the same matte red eyeshadow shade under your eyes using a flat smudging brush.

Step 4: Time for liner

Line your lashes with a black liquid eyeliner, creating a wing once you get to the outer corner. Next, draw a line along your crease and connect this to the end of your wing. Now, replicate this wing shape above the double wing you’ve just drawn for some serious drama.

And for under eyes, trace along with your lower lash line and draw a small wing at the outer edge. Finish up by drawing another line that gradually slopes downwards and forms an arrow at the end (a.k.a; a devil’s tail).

Step 5: Add the devilish details

To bring the look to life, use red face paint and a flat brush to draw a horn directly above each brow. Once you’ve got the outline, fill the horn in with face paint and set the colour in place by applying a red matte eyeshadow directly on top.

So that your horns are unmistakeably devilish, outline each one with a black liquid eyeliner to define the shape.

Step 6: Elevate your eyes

To grunge up the eyes even more, trace under your lower lash line with a black eyeliner pencil. After, apply a lengthening mascara by wiggling the wand from root to tip.

Step 7: Give your lips some love

No devil makeup Halloween look is complete without red lipstick. So, apply your favourite red lipstick and top with a red gloss for a truly devious pout.

Step 8: Finish with falsies

Step 1: Prep and perfect your base

To match your base with your bestie, start your look by priming your face and applying your base makeup following steps one and two from the first look.

Step 2: Amp up the eyes

Using a flat eyeshadow brush, apply black face paint to one eyelid and blend it out with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. To build up the pigment even further, apply a matte black eyeshadow on top.

For your other eyelid, follow the same steps, but use red face paint and eyeshadow instead.

Step 3: Bring out the brown lipstick

To contrast against your bestie’s red lipstick, apply brown lipstick for a more mysterious vibe.

Step 4: Add the horns

For straighter devil horns, you’ll need a pair of tweezers and a black eyeliner pen. Draw along one side of the tweezer and stamp it above your brow (angled slightly inwards) to create one side of the horn. Next, draw on the other side of the tweezers and stamp it so that it creates a triangle shape with your first line. Lastly, follow these exact steps under your eyes for a cohesive look.

Now, it’s time to fill them in! On the side where your eyelid is red, colour the triangles in with black face paint and red face paint on the opposite side.
