Male Grooming Tips

We all know manscaping (the removal or trimming of hair on a man's face or body for cosmetic purposes) has taken off – from Beckham to Clooney, these fellas have their follicles in check. It’s easy to overlook the basics when you’re working on that fade or tryna trim a cheek line to perfection. But no matter what you do, you’ll never look the part if you’ve got hairs sprouting from your ears and nose. So they’ve gotta go…

Step 1: clean and trim your nose

Trust us – if you can see it, we can (especially if you’re tall). Now we know you need some nose hair for hygiene reasons, but the ones hanging out of your nose? They can go.

Wash: Wet a piece of cotton ball with water and clean the inside of each nostril.

Trim: Superdrug Men’s Nose & Ear Hair Trimmer couldn’t be easier to use. Simply turn it on and trim until satisfied.

Step 2: clean your trimmer

Bogies and earwax don’t need to be friends, so clean the trimmer between orifices with a damp cotton ball.

Step 3: clean and trim your ears

Grandad might be able to pull it off, but you can’t. If your ears have scruff going on, it’s time to get rid.

Wash: Wipe around your ear with a damp cotton ball.

Trim: Use your trimmer to remove the hair from your inner ear.

Tidy: Lobes can be hairy, too. Use the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler 3-in-1 with a clipper attachment around the outside of your ear.

Finish: Ear hairs have a habit of sticking around, so take a cotton bud and remove any trimmings.
