Rainbow eye makeup tutorial for Pride 2018

Pride month has arrived and all the celebrations and festivals are fast approaching. To us, that means only one thing – it’s time to rock a rainbow, and where better to put it than right across your face? That’s right, we’re pulling no punches with this look. Prime for the partay

Keep the look in place all day with a wash of Revolution Aqua Seal Liquid Eye Primer. Apply it underneath one of your eyes, where you want to place your rainbow makeup, then allow it to dry before moving onto the next step.

Add your colour

We’re going all out and using glitter shadows from Revolution Pro. These babies are super-sparkly and have 10/10 pigmentation, so they’re perfect for what we’re trying to achieve. Grab the Revolution Pro Eyeshadow Refill Packs in Glisten Here and Glisten Up and you’ll have all the colours you need. Use the red orange and yellow shadows from the first pack and the blue and green shadows from the second. Apply them with a small detail brush in that order, striping the pigments diagonally downwards to create a swooping effect.

TOP TIP: For maximum colour payoff, pack the glitter on in tapping motions.

Repeat the rainbow

Now we’ve got one side sorted, it’s time to finish the look. To create the singular swooping motion across your face, place the rainbow on top of the opposite eye. Prime the area above your eyebrow and apply the glitter in the same order as before. Sweep the colours up from your eyebrow towards your temple for that swish rainbow effect.
