In 2004, the He-Shi story began with our incredible founders, Hilary and Shelley, who were previous salon owners. They had witnessed numerous tanning disasters and were unable to find a tanning product that didn't smell, wasn't 'orange', and had a guide colour. With a vision to create innovative tanning products that provide a beautiful, natural glow and nourishing skincare benefits, they set out to establish the first tanning brand in Ireland - He-Shi. At the core of our brand is confidence and empowerment. We believe that everyone deserves to look and feel beautiful in their own skin, regardless of their shape, size, gender, or ability. That's why we don't filter our products. The name He-Shi represents the unisex nature of our brand, which is a combination of our founders' names. We take pride in our brand and are proud to say that He-Shi is for everyone!
