As an antihistamine in allergies:
Children 2-5 years: A single dose of ONE to THREE 5ml spoonfuls or ONE 5ml spoonful twice a day. The maximum dose must not exceed THREE 5ml spoonful's.

Children 5-10: A single dose of TWO to FIVE 5ml spoonfuls Or ONE or TWO 5ml spoonfuls twice a day. The maximum dose must not exceed FIVE 5ml spoonfuls per day)

Children over 10 years & Adults: Initially TWO 5ml spoonfuls twice a day is recommended. This may be increased to a maximum of FOUR 5ml spoonfuls three times a day.

For travel sickness:
Children 2-5 years: ONE 5ml spoonful the night before the journey. This may be repeated after 6-8 hours if necessary.
Children 5-10 years: TWO 5ml spoonfuls the night before the journey. This may be repeated after 6-8 hours if necessary.
Children over 10 years & Adults: FIVE 5ml spoonfuls the night before the journey. This may be repeated 6-8 hours after if necessary.

For Insomnia in Adults: FIVE to TEN 5ml spoonfuls (25mg-50mg) as a single dose at night time. The use of Phenergan tablets is recommended to provide this dose.
