For a less mess alternative to dispensing bottled foundation onto the back of your hand as well as allowing you to apply foundation with more precision, we bring to you foundation sticks. Made from a creamy foundation consistency, stick foundation allows you to carefully apply foundation with a stick applicator so you can create contoured looks with ease and cover blemishes briskly. Typically offering additional coverage compared to liquid foundations, these foundation creams offer medium to full coverage and are suitable for all skin types, from oily to normal, combination to dry, coming in matte and glossy radiant finishes.

To create a precise contour look with a stick foundation, take a shade slightly lighter than your skin tone to highlight and use on the high point of your face like the highs of your cheek bones, the centre of your forehead and the bridge of your nose to brighten these areas. Then to shade, chose a foundation a couple of shades darker than your normal colour and use this to create definition in the hollows of your cheeks, jaw line, around your temples and edges of your forehead and down the sides of your nose to create a narrow bridge, simply by drawing onto skin like you would a pen. You can then easily blend these creams as they offer seamlessly blendable formulas for a flawless finish. Use a beauty blender sponge or a foundation brush to blend and buff this in.
