Our Superdrug Pharmacists are on hand to support our customers whilst shopping online for healthcare products, or for expert skincare whilst instore.

We know the importance of making the right choice when it comes to proactive healthcare, and we want to help you find products that suit you. As well as advice on vitamins, gut health or pain relief our Pharmacists are also trained to deliver expert advice on specialist skincare ranges including La Roche Possay and Eucerin. All our pharmacists are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Society and have undertaken Essential Dermatology for Pharmacists training with The Primary Care Dermatological Society.

Our Pharmacists are also able to signpost you to alternative Superdrug healthcare services should you need to speak to a Doctor or other healthcare professional.

  • Am I talking to an actual pharmacist?

    Yes, our fully qualified Pharmacists are on hand to help you via Health Insider:

    Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30
    Saturday: 09:00 - 17:00
    Sunday: 11:30 - 15:00

    All our pharmacists are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

    If I am feeling unwell, are they able to provide me with a diagnosis?

    What if the Pharmacist is not able to support my query?

    Our Pharmacists are trained to be able to support through our Health Insider service. However, if during the call they are unable to support your specific query, they will direct you towards services that may be able to help.

    What if I need help with cosmetics also, is the Pharmacist able to help?

    Once our pharmacist has helped you with your health question they are also able to transfer you through to the team that can help you with any make up or fragrance questions you may have!

    Do I need to have my camera on?

    It is up to you, however we do recommend this if you feel comfortable.

    Do I pay for this service?

    No, our Health Insider service is complimentary for our customers.

    Is my conversation with the Pharmacist private?

    Yes, your call will be conducted in a private space within our Pharmacy. Calls are not recorded.

  • Can I show the pharmacist my health condition over video?

    The Health Insider service is to support you with product selection when shopping online, we appreciate you may want to show the pharmacist over video the reason for your purchase, please make sure that you only show areas of skin which would usually be visible in public.

    We will need to terminate the call if the pharmacist is shown intimate or personal areas. The quality of the video will depend on internet connection, signal etc so the pharmacist is not able to diagnose a condition over video, and for these you may need to speak to a GP.

    Can I speak to the pharmacist about my Superdrug prescription?

    The pharmacy team for Health Insider does not have access to your Superdrug prescription information or medical record therefore they are unable to support you with any prescriptions you have ordered through Superdrug.     If I select a Pharmacy Only Medicine after my discussion with the pharmacist do I still need to complete the questionnaire online?

    Yes, you will still need to complete the questionnaire, this is to ensure that we are selling this medicine safely online. Every time a pharmacy medicine is ordered through our website it needs to be approved via a questionnaire through our pharmacy team at the supplying pharmacy.
