When - Always apply sun protection to cool, dry skin in the shade (ideally indoors) 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure. Sun cream applied outdoors in direct sun-light can evaporate before it has a chance to bond with the skin and therefore becomes less effective.

You are more likely to miss bits if you are rushed for time. However, as Ultrasun is a once-a-day product you can most definitely afford to be lavish!

How much - Apply liberally to all exposed, or potentially exposed, parts of the body. The official guidelines given by Colipa (Association of European Cosmetic Industry) are 2mg/cm2 - this approximately corresponds to one teaspoon worth for the face. As a rule of thumb, use a teaspoon of suncream for each arm, leg, front, back and face (including neck and ears). Any less, radically reduces the protection effect.

How often - Because of the technologically advanced formula, Ultrasun products require just one application a day to deliver long lasting, high level protection from both UVA and UVB rays.

Extreme conditions may compromise the 'once-a-day' application and you may wish to re-apply. Extreme conditions include exceeding your 'sun account' (pull back the label on the bottle for details), extreme water exposure, extreme temperatures or exfoliation.
