Start slowly. If you are new to retinol, use it every other night for the first two weeks, then move to every night once your skin is comfortable. One or two drops is enough for both eyes. Warm it on your ring finger and pat it gently along the orbital bone, under the eye and up to the brow. Keep it off the eyelid and away from the lash line. Apply it to clean, dry skin as the last eye step before bed. Damp skin can make retinol feel stronger. Some dryness in the first couple of weeks is normal while skin adjusts. If it happens, drop back to every other night.
