Covonia Original Bronchial Balsam Syrup is used to provide symptomatic relief from coughing, irritation and congestion in adults and children over the age of 12 years.

Warning or Restrictions
Do not use if:
•The patient is under the age of 12 years.
•This medicine can make you feel drowsy or sleepy, if this happens to you, do not drive or operate machinery.
•This medication contains ethanol (alcohol).
•Do not take with other cold and flu products including decongestants.
•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction.
•If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking.
•If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist.
Product Specification
Active ingredients: dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg/ 5ml and menthol 2.5mg/5ml.
Other ingredients: ethanol, glycerol (E422), sucrose. Alcohol 0.18 vol%. Sucrose 3.07g per 5ml.
Per 5ml: Menthol 2.5mg.

Product Uses
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years old: take two 5ml spoonful's. The dose can be repeated after 4 hours if required.
