Safety & Warnings — Imperfectionists Candle

• Never leave a burning candle unattended and never leave the house with the candle burning; always extinguish before you leave or go to bed.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from curtains, fabrics and anything flammable; keep at least 10 cm between burning candles.
• This product is for external use only. The melted wax is intended only for application to the hands — do not apply to face, open wounds, sensitive areas or other body parts.
• Do not ingest. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
• Do not pour wax down drains or into the sea. Dispose of leftover wax and the jar responsibly — the glass jar is recyclable. Do not discard any product where it could harm wildlife or marine life.
• Burning instructions (follow every time): Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm (¼ inch) before lighting. Light the candle, allow a small pool of liquid to form, then blow out the flame and wait 3–10 seconds (depending on your heat tolerance) before scooping a small amount to apply only to your hands. Do not move the candle while the wax is molten.
• Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool between burns. Keep the wax pool clear of debris, matches and wick trimmings.
• Keep away from drafts and vibrations to avoid uneven burning, flare-ups or spillage of hot wax.
• Stop use when approximately 1 cm of wax remains in the jar to avoid overheating the container.
