Benzoin Essential Oil is the balsamic resin from benzoin (a small tree). Benzoin is a fixative. Used as a natural preservative in creams, it's also comforting, uplifting and warming as a muscle ease massage - especially when a 'pick me up' is needed. Useful as a steam inhalant, especially in winter. It can help soothe cracked and dry skin; excellent for use in gardening handcreams. In colder months Benzoin will require gentle warming before use.
