    Not great for oily skin

I have a very oily t-zone, and having not tried a primer before I thought I'd start cheap to test out a few. My hopes were that it would mattify and provide a buffer between my skin and the foundation. In the product's defence it doesn't claim to mattify, but does the opposite. It has flecks of glitter in it that make my face appear oilier than ever. I think this kind of product would work well in areas you'd want to highlight, but all over your face? Secondly, I didn't find that it held my foundation on any better than it would alone. The product itself is more of a moisturiser than a primer, so my theory is that when it absorbs, my foundation does too, since it had pretty much worn off by the end of the day. I'd say this would most likely work well for dry skin types, given it's 'moisturising element', but I'd save your money if you have oily skin like me.
