i have black hair so it didin't really work on my hair, I had to do it two times and it still turned out orange/copperFlag this review
I have quite dark brown hair but I have had highlights the past couple of years. I was cautious of the highlights though they had grown out. The mixture didn't smell as much as people are making out and it is easy to cope with. I left it on for the minimum amount of time recommended (25 minutes) and then checked it. My hair has turned a lovely golden colour on the ends (blonde) It is obviously brighter in the sun but has no way turned ginger or brassy. I love my new hairFlag this review
well I haven't used it yet but reading the reviews I think I need to ask. I have thin, dark, wavy hair that I've never dyed before and want it the colour on the box (In between dark blonde and light ginger) does it really turn out that way?and does it fade and turn a horrible colour after? PLEASE HELP ME, I'll be checking every day. thanks xFlag this review

This is the first time ive done this technique. i have dyed my hair alot over the years, and ive been black, blonde, red etc. so you need to make sure your hair is in good condition, and i wouldnt recommend this product to anyone who has black hair. if your hair is very dark you will need to use bleach. at the moment my hair is a medium brown, and i didnt follow the instructions, as ive viewed lots of youtube videos and picked up some good tips. if you want it more natural looking, apply the product to the ends of your hair first, leave it for 5 minutes, then apply more product futher up, leave it again for 5 minutes, and carry on until youre satisfied with how high you want it to go. i left mine on for the full 45mins. also if you do not want a sharp line, backcombe your hair where you want the ombre to stop..this makes it look more natural looking. also once youve finished, put your hair into tin foil and wrap it up..any warmth helps the product to make your hair lighter. i am very happy with how its ended up, it really lightened my hair. but if you dont want the blonde to be too warm or bright, buy a blonde/ash blonde hair dye and use that afterwards..that is what i have done so it looks more natural and less full on. my hair is a little bit dry but i am very happy with how my hair looks :) best hair style ive had for a whileFlag this review
Picking this up from the shelf and carrying it home, I was a bit sceptical. I was worried mainly about the application rather than the outcome. It was so easy to apply! I have black (colour about 3 weeks ago) shoulder long hair and it cought really nicely (gingery/brownish colour). I am very happy with the outcome.Flag this review
Honestly , I was very hyped about creating the ombre effect at home and the price wasn't even an issue when considering that it comes with a brush and all but my god this is the worst dye I have ever come across! Turned my medium brown hair GINGER. PURE OOPMA LOOMPA GINGER. I was this close to spending the rest of my day crying in the bathroom with my now brittle and dry hair. But thank the lord I used garnier olia's dark beige blonde and my hairs now gold:) <3 It's defiantly not worth the damage or price and I would recommend that you don't buy it. Goodluck if you do though!Flag this review
This product is not made for black hair I have Asian hair and I thought it will work. But instead it came out ginger copper orange colour. I thought it was for dark hair but it is for dark brown not black. I think the better option is to use bleach if you have black hair but otherwise if you have light to dark brown hair this would be cheap and does work just did not give the result I like but partially my fault. Another the thing it does stink really bad and brush is ok as some product is left on the brush. My advice is to try with one strand of hair first. Another thing is it did damage my hair a little but if you just apply coconut oil it will help or argon oil.Flag this review
I'd never dyed my own hair before so I was really worried as to how this product would react on my hair, but I'm glad to say that it worked really well. Only a few minutes after applying the dye I could already see the colour starting to change. I decided to wash mine out after 30 minutes as I was a bit worried how light it would go after 45 mins. But I'm glad that I did as the colour is just what I wanted. I'd say it's a kind of light brown/auburn colour now on the ends. The ends of my hair are slightly dryer now, but that's normal after dyeing hair I understand. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product. It's easy to use and so much cheaper than going to the salon.Flag this review
