I've always used cheap disposable razors, however after trying this one i'll never go back. You get such a close shave but without any feeling of shaving so soft on the skin. I would say the moisture bars don't look like they will last long but i'll have to wait and seeFlag this review
I love this razor! As I normally buy cheap disposables which aren't exactly the best thing for my legs as they get extremely dry and itchy: the Olay bars are incredible and I don't have to put up with the irritation of the aftermath of applying loads of moisturiser and still claw at my dry skin because it's already there! Yeah the replacements are a bit pricey for like 2 spare heads but I would actually budget them in because it really is a fab razor and reduces the time of faffing around with lathering up when time is of the essence! Definitely a must buy!Flag this review
Can't fault this. Glides smoothly over skin, leaving it soft. No nicks!!!!!Flag this review
I was really impressed with this razor (maybe because I usually just use a quick, cheap option!) For a start, the packaging is great, you can actually get the product out of the plastic case without the need for scissors or split fingers! The moisture bars to the top and bottom of the razor help moisturise as you shave, so no need for soap, and they also smell really good. The razor gives a really good close shave and I haven't nicked myself once! I think the real bonus to this razor lies in the moisture bars: they have certainly improved the condition of my legs after shaving. I would normally have to apply quite a bit of moisturiser after shaving, but haven't needed to on most occasions after using this razor. The only let down of this razor is the cost of the replacement razor heads, which are a bit more than I would normally pay. Otherwise, excellent razor that does a great job!Flag this review
I was given this product to test and don't usually use an expensive razor. What a refreshing change it makes. The moisture bars are fantastic as they really lubricate the skin, eliminating the need for gels or foams. Using the razor is effortless and my usually sensitive skin has remained blemish free and smoother for longer. It comes with a very handy shower holder that actually remains stuck to the tiles and supporting the weight of the razor. The only downsides are the cost of replacement heads and the size of the head makes it difficult to shave armpits.Flag this review
I was was given this product to test and give my honest opinions and to be fair im quite impressed by this razor its the best one ive used yet! The five blade system which is spring mounted adjusts to your skin making sure you recieve no cuts at all leaving your legs nice and smooth and not having to shave everyday to stop growth. The Olay moisture bars which are attached to the razor leaves your legs feeling pampered and there is no need to use extra moisturiser afterwards. The razor when dipped in the water needs nothing else to stop your legs from be chapped or getting a rash as the mosture bars take car of this and as a bonus they smell lush! I would definately advise that this is one of the best razors on the market, the only downfall is that the refills are a bit priceyFlag this review
This razor is a very novel idea. You don't have to use a shower cream or gel, just wet the moisture bars that are above and below the blades so can shave quite quickly. It gives a very close shave and even with five blades it never nicks or cuts. It has a lovely scent, leaves your skin feeling smooth and the added shower holder is really handy and sticks well to bathroom tiles without falling off. It can be a little bit hard to manoeuvre in a bikini shave and is a bit on the pricey side, but definitely a great product. :)Flag this review
I recently tested this product and have been very pleased with it. The packaging is bright and inviting and very easy to get into. No scissors required, the packaging just pulls into 2 pieces. So from the start no aggravation trying to get the product out. Inside the package has one razor handle, the head and the holder. The handle if ergonomically designed and is very comfortable in the hand. The shape is great and it has little cushioned areas where you would apply more pressure to it. The head attaches easily. This comes with too bars either side of the 5 shaving blades. One of these bars is to give a closer shave and to replace the use of a shaving gel. The other bar is the Olay bar that moisturisers the skin. The holder is handy to stick to a tile in the shower to keep your razor out of reach of little hands or just for ease of access. The Shave I never use a shaving gel, I lather with soap and then shave. I did not lather with soap and just gave it a go to see the results. The first thing I noticed was how gooey the bars had become with the steam in the bathroom from me filling the bath. Straight away this made me wonder how long the bars were going to last. I usually buy gillette's main competitors razors with the safety bars over the blade. This is due to year of nicking my legs just above the ankle while shaving. So, I am apprehensive at first to use the gillette incase I cut myself. I did not need to worry. The blade just seem to mould to the shape of your body. It gives a wonderful close and comfortable shave. I now do not worry if I am going to cut myself as I now have complete faith in these blades. The bars did help. The first one that replaces the gel was very gooey and even slimy. When rinsed off the skin was very very smooth, soft and conditioned. Conclusion The blade retails at £10.99, in my opinion this is expensive when it only come with one head. The heads retail at £10.99 for 3. I shave say ever 3 days and I have been using this blade for 3 weeks. The bars are just about finished so they do not last as long as the blade does. The blade is still nice and sharp so will still last for some time. This then does away with the theory that one of the bars does away with the use of a shaving gel and thus save you money. I love this razor I think it is great. I would highly recommend it. It has lost one of the stars out of five, purely due to it's cost and the bars not lasting the same length of time as the blades. This I suppose will differ with different hair strengths if you change you blade more frequently than every 3 weeks then the bars my last an equal time. So, Give it a go!!!Flag this review
I agree with previous reviewers about the razor offering a smooth and close shave. The moisturising bars also have a nice fragrance. However, I still found it necessary to moisturise my legs after shaving as my skin felt dry. There is also no cover provided for the razor head (other than a yoghurt pot shaped thing from the packaging that would not stay on) consequently, this left the strips exposed and after just one use, the top one came completely unattached and the lower one now feels very mushy and unpleasant. The one that I purchsed also did not come with a holder as others have stated... I am quite disappointed with this product, especially as I paid the full original price for it. I think that this razor needs to be improved with some tweeking and until then I don't think I would buy it again.Flag this review
The moisture bars did not last long at all. The top bar fell off while shaving after just 2 uses. I also felt that the strips were a little to thick making it difficult to get a close shave especially on my art pits. I bought this because of its half price offer but i wouldnt buy it again. I may have just had some bad luck but i wouldnt risk it againFlag this review
