Grey Eyeshadow

If you want to create a dark, smokey eyed look but you don’t want to go OTT gothic with black eyeshadow, try out grey eyeshadow which is slightly more subtle which you can blend and build with different shades and tones to create a traditional smokey eyed look with smokey grey eyeshadow shades. Choose from single grey eyeshadow pots to grey eyeshadow palettes which offer a whole selection of greys for a fire smokey eye. To create this look, start with your lightest shade, blending into the crease of your eyelid and slowly building your look with more intensity with darker shades of grey as your travel further down the eyelid. Whether or not you’ll make it to 50 shades of grey though, we’ll leave that challenge down to you.

For an easier way to achieve this staple eyeshadow look for the makeup novices out there (or if you’re just feeling lazy), try cream or liquid formulated eyeshadows for even easier blending and a seamless, flawless finish. So, you’ve created a smouldering, moody grey eyed look but you still feel like there’s something missing? Add a touch of silver eyeshadow for a touch of glamour or look to using metallic or glitter eyeshadows for night-time.
