This is a combination made in heaven: we can’t stress how well these three ingredients go together.

Lemon cheese pancakes

Easy and delicious, these pancakes are a creamy, scrumptious twist on the classic lemon and sugar pancake. Just top each pancake with a dollop of mascarpone/cream cheese and a drizzle of lemon curd.

Salted caramel and pretzel pancakes

If you’re the type who orders mixed popcorn at the cinema, this is the topping for you. Salt and sweet flavours work really well together. Drizzle the caramel over the pancakes and decorate with pretzels.

Breakfast bacon and egg

Swap your toast for a pancake, and top with your brekkie eggs and bacon. This works better with chunkier pancakes, so throw some baking powder and self-raising flower into the batter.

Heat some sliced eating apples with sugar, and when tender and fluffy, stir in 50g plain or milk chocolate. Yummy!

American blueberry pancakes

This is one of the most popular pancake choices in America! Serve the pancakes stacked high, filled with plenty of blueberries and maple syrup.

Vegan pancakes are easy to make and totally tasty! All you need to do is mix one banana with 100ml of soy-milk, 25g of oats, 3tbs wholemeal flour and 1tsp of baking powder. Top with lots of fruit and maple syrup.
