It’s been a rollercoaster of a week for Sam, who lost out on one girl and tactically picked up another. Imagine it, if you will, like Homes Under The Hammer, with Chris being the hammer and Olivia being the house he’s coming down on. And hard.
It all started when Olivia took Sam away from his PDPW (Public Display of Pretending to Workout) for a little ‘chat’ – we all know how much the islanders love a bloody chat.
"I feel that I've pulled away," She told him in her big, gold hoops she’d specifically put in to pie him (as you do.) "I feel proper distant from you because we started off as really good friends, so we were together all the time. Since I've felt these feelings it's making me not want to be around you at all. Something's not right, but I can't put my finger on what it is.
"You haven't done anything," Olivia continued. "You're one of the best boys in this house. It's not you, it's me. I'm looking for something, and I don't know what it is. You're irritating me, but you're not doing anything wrong." Oooooooouch.
The reason behind this big cream pie lies with the fact that Chris and Olivia became aware they both wanted to ‘stick it on’ each other. (God we're getting good at this Love Island lingo!)
We saw Sam’s perfectly groomed brows twitch with rage as he learnt of the ‘betrayal’ and had to be pulled away from Chris by the islanders. Grrrrrr #testosterone.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom for Sam, as he and Montana have struck up a partnership that we can really, really see going somewhere…(or could potentially be seen as a tactic to keep themselves in the villa and we're just wishful thinking 'cos team #SaMon has such a ring to it.)
Our personal favourite was when Montana told Sam, “I reckon you might be a six with sunglasses. Without sunglasses maybe a four…”
“So if you add them together, it’s a 10!” grinned Sam, obviously impressed with his #TOPBANTER.
God they’re a clever bunch.
