In 2009, Justin released his debut pop song One Time, which featured a cameo from Usher. The song’s video has now had almost 500 million views on YouTube.
First EP, My World
Following the success of One Time, Bieber released his first EP in November 2009, called My World.

Biebs releases a movie, 2011
JB starred in his first movie in 2011 – his very own! Justin Bieber: Never Say Never combined clips from Bieber’s childhood and also went behind the scenes of his My World tour. And as if that didn’t make his year eventful enough, 2011 was also the year that he starting hanging out with future on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez.

You might remember 2012 as the year that London hosted the Olympic Games – but it was also the year that Bieber started to sport a totally new ’do. Ditching the swept-over look, he chopped off his barnet – and the world went even CRAZIER for him!

JB left fans all over the world heartbroken when he announced via Twitter that he’d be retiring – in a tweet stating, ‘My beloved beliebers I’m officially retiring’ – and kept a low profile…
Making a comeback, 2015
… Until Bieber took himself out of retirement, and spent the first half of 2015 prepping for his comeback. He appeared with Madonna on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and surprised crowds when he appeared on stage with Skrillex and Ariana Grande at their gigs. Then, in July, he released a song in collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo called Where Are U Now? – and in September, he released What Do You Mean?, which marked the first occasion that any of his songs had made the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100.
Purpose Tour launches, 2016
After releasing many hits this year already, such as Sorry and Love Yourself, Bieber kicked off his Purpose Tour in Seattle back in March before arriving in the UK tomorrow. We are SO excited.
