Our fave food programme is back on screen tomorrow evening: Great British Bake Off 2016, yay! And you’ve guessed it – we’re waiting in anticipation for Mary Berry’s first outfit of the series to be revealed. Whatever the occasion, she sure knows how to pull off a smart outfit, so here’s a look back at some of her chicest choices…
The evening number
Doesn’t she look the part at the British Academy Television Awards? We love this sequinned nude floor-length gown with coordinating pearl necklace and shoes. And the fuchsia-pink nail polish is the perfect finishing touch, Mary!
The floral blazer
If there’s anyone who can pull off a bright floral number, it’s Mary. She’s teamed this colourful jacket with a simple black top and trousers and a delicate necklace. Yet again, her mani is on point, as she opts for pillar-box red to match the jacket’s beaut flowers.
We’re such fans of this smart woollen jacket and flared skirt, accessorised with tasteful black patent kitten heels and a pearl necklace. Psst, pink is defo your colour, Mary!
The tailored below-the-knee dress
We bet Mary stole the show at Royal Ascot, and we’re not just talking about her fab swirly hat. The pale cornflower-blue dress – stylishly drawn in at the waist with a belt – signature pearl necklace and nude courts make for a seriously chic outfit.
The scarf/cardy combo
The queen of the scarf-cardy combo looks elegant as always in a royal-blue knit, pale-blue printed scarf and a French mani. And her ’do is, as ever, well coiffed. We wouldn’t expect anything less.
