The beauty and fashion looks from Paris Fashion Week both on and off the catwalk we just couldn't get enough of…
Hats off to Karl Lagerfeld for channelling the swinging 60s with a futuristic twist. The voluminous beehive was created by hairstyling legend Sam McKnight, who achieved the look by intense teasing and backcombing. Twiggy-like lashes, silver-blue eyeshadow and a black liner in the crease finished off the avant-garde creation.
Fenty x Puma by Rihanna
Makeup maestro Pat McGrath created an array of punk inspired looks for the Fenty x Puma by Rihanna show – where it was evident that anything goes. A dark purple lip with graphic liner and an orange shadow with clumpy orange mascara were just some of the rebellious beauty looks from the academia-themed collection.
Just when you think Cara can’t get any cooler, she cuts off her hair and dyes it ash blonde. Our fave babe has been slaying the fashion stakes in Paris, but this look has topped our list… and then some. The stripes, the hair, the subtle smoky eye – all hail, Queen Cara.
If ever there was a bubblegum-pink, candy-floss-cuffed power suit of dreams, this would be it. The Made In Chelsea beauty kept her makeup minimal and highlighted her cheeks with a dusting of rosy blusher. We are seriously rating this look.
Braids and burgundy made up the beauty look on the Valentino runway. Pat McGrath created a deep burgundy lip with a matching graphic reverse cat’s eye. Hair was centre parted with micro braids plaited either side.
Colourpop is where it’s at this season, and never one to shy away from the eccentric, Westwood sent models down the runway rocking electrically bright makeup. Makeup artist Val Garland created an array of defiant looks (no two models looked the same), using bright pigments swept all over the eyes or vibrant coloured liners applied to look graphically haphazard. The red-white painted nails were sharpened within an inch of their life, giving off a don’t-mess-with-me vibe.
Kendall stepped out for dinner in Paris in a scarlet minidress paired with thigh-high snakeskin boots. We’re trying to find a high street version of this look right this second – and we have serious emoji hearts in our eyes.
So, which has been your fave look from Paris Fashion Week? We'd love to hear from you!
