Step 1: Side Parting

Start by creating a side parting. You can use the arch of your eyebrow as positioning and the end of a pintail comb for accuracy.

Step 2: Section and Curl

Next you need to section off the crown of your hair. You can now being to curl the remaining hair away from the face, leaving the ends. Hold the curlers in place for 10 seconds and release. Once you have curled the whole bottom section of hair, hold in place with hairspray.

Step 3: Middle Section

You now need to repeat the previous step with the middle section of hair. This time ensure that the curls are bigger with bigger stands of hair used. This will create volume working up your head. Hold in place with hairspray.

Step 4: Top Section

Now it is time to curl the top of your hair. First, ensure your side parting is still intact. Once it is, increase the strands of hair you curl and keep your iron flat. This will further add volume to your curls. Hold in place with hairspray once the whole top section has been curled.

Step 5: Cool the Curls

Allow the curls to cool down so that they set into place. Once they have, run your fingers through your hair to loosen the curls and create a more natural, desired look.

Step 6: Brush

Brush through your curls to create a sleek Hollywood look. Brush away from your face to add even more volume and bounce to the curls. Hold the finished look in place with hairspray.
