Part your fringe in the centre using a comb for accuracy.  Next, clip one side back out of the way.

Step 2 – Begin Braiding

Pull your fringe back intertwining it into your lengthened hair. Next, take three sections of hair and begin braiding by taking the right side over the centre section and then the left. Repeat until your braid has been formed. Keep it close to your scalp to prevent the braid loosening.

Step 3 – Secure in place

Once you have braided the first side of your hair, hold into place using a thin hair tie.

Once you have braided your crown tightly to your scalp, secure the end with a thin hair tie, leaving enough hair to at the end to form the bun.

Step 3 – Backcomb

Bring the remaining hair up and backcomb to create volume and thicken the bun.

Twist the hair around to form a bun and secure into place using clips. Those with thicker hair will need to use more clips to ensure the bun doesn’t fall out.

Step 4 – Tease the Bun

Tease your bun, stretching your bun to widen and create a more voluminous look.
