Three readers will be chosen to review the full Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Face Care Range and star in an advert in DARE

If so, you could be one of the three lucky readers chosen to review the new Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Face Care range, and feature in the next Palmer’s advert in DARE magazine. In addition, we will choose 500 winners at random from all the entries to receive a complimentary travel-size version of the Daily Calming Facial Lotion. All products contain the softening goodness of the highest quality cocoa butter so you can benefit from radiant, younger-looking skin.

Terms & Conditions
  1. For a chance to trial the Palmer's Facial range and feature in a professional photo shoot for the November/December issue of DARE (the "Competition") you must be a UK resident aged 18 years and over, and not an employee of Superdrug Stores plc, ET Browne UK Ltd, the River Group Ltd ("River") or any related company, a family member, agent or anyone professionally connected with the Competition.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition. To enter, go to www.superdrug.com/dare and complete the online entry form. You will be required to answer in 20 words or less why you would like to be part of the trial and upload a picture of yourself in the specified format (PNG of JPG). The photo must not include anyone else and must be close up headshot.
  3. xAny entry which may breach the intellectual property rights of a third party (e.g. exhibiting third party brand names, logos, trademarks, images etc) will be disqualified at River's reasonable discretion. Any entries containing abusive, inappropriate, offensive or obscene language or imagery will be disqualified.
  4. Entries must be received by 23:59 on Wednesday 29th August 2012.
  5. There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries or entries that are delivered late are illegible, incomplete, damaged or otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted. Entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.
  6. There will be three first prize winners who will be selected based on the judging criteria including photograph and response to the 20 word summary within 1 week of competition closure by an independent judging panel, whose decision shall be final.
  7. Each first prize winner will receive:
    • Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Cleansing Gel 150ml
    • Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub 150g
    • Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Calming Facial Lotion 100ml
    • Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Line Smoothing Eye Cream 15g
    • Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Night Renewal Cream 75g
  8. The first prize winners will be required to attend a 1 day photo shoot on Friday 28th September 2012. Necessary standard modes of transport for the winner will be provided to the photo shoot location from their home, and from the photo shoot back to their home on the photo shoot date. No accommodation will be provided. The winner will be responsible for all other expenses in relation to attendance at the photo shoot. No food or drink will be supplied during travel time. The first prize winners will also be required to participate in a small interview about the Palmers range. This will feature in the November/December issue of DARE.
  9. First prize winners may be required to enter into a contract and confidentiality agreement prior to the photo shoot.
  10. There will be 500 2nd prize winners who will be drawn at random from all eligible entries within 3 weeks of closing date of the closing date. Each winner will receive a travel size Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Calming Facial Lotion 15g.
  11. First prize winners will be notified by email/ using the details provided by them within 1 week of the closing date. First prize winners must then confirm if they can proceed with the requirements as noted in point 8. If they cannot do so, or do not claim their prize, then River reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative winner.
  12. 1st prize winners will receive their packs by registered post within 7 working days of competition closure
  13. 500 winners – will they be sent their prize via post within 4 weeks of competition closure.
  14. Any decision of River as to eligibility to take part in the Competition or the result of the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. River accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, delayed, lost, damaged or illegible whether due to failure or non-availability of the website www.superdrug.com/dare or any other reason.
  15. Palmers reserve the right not to feature any of the winners in DARE magazine due to editorial or other reasons. It is at Palmers discretion to use some, all or none of the images which are taken of the winners.
  16. All entrants shall assign all copyright and other intellectual property rights (including any moral rights) in the photos and any other materials generated during the various stages of the Competition to River. Palmers shall own the copyright and all other intellectual property or other rights in these materials, together with the entrants' name, city and age in perpetuity and on a worldwide basis for use at Palmers discretion including, without limitation, use on advertising, other media, press releases, editorial and promotional activity, point of sale material, Superdrug's websites, third party websites (including Youtube, Facebook and Twitter), newsletters and e-newsletters.
  17. The prizes are subject to availability. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes.
  18. Images used are for visual purposes only. Alternative products or colours may be substituted for the items shown. Palmer's reserves the right (but is not obliged) to substitute an alternative to any of the prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
  19. River reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Competition.
  20. A list of winners' names and counties will be available on request from 27th September 2012 until the 27th October 2012 by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to: Anna Cotton, The River Group, acotton@therivergroup.co.uk. [
  21. 21. In addition to the photo shoot and interview for DARE magazine, winners may be required to participate in non-paid publicity or advertising relating to the Competition, which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes.
  22. For the avoidance of doubt, all prizes are being provided by River and / or Palmer's, and the provision of the prizes is outside of Superdrug's control.
  23. By entering the Competition, all entrants agree that their personal data and images will be used by the Data Controller in accordance with River's Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy can be found at and http://www.therivergroup.co.uk/privacy-policy.
  24. 24. The Competition and these terms and conditions are subject to English law. Any disputes must be referred to the English Courts.
