Primary colour use
For single colour communications or where printing techniques are restricted, the logo should appear either black on white or white on black.
For single colour communications or where printing techniques are restricted, the logo should appear either black on white or white on black.
Secondary colour use The Superdrug stacked logo must only be reproduced from digital master artwork. To request this, contact the Brand Team in Marketing.
The logo may appear white on any of the secondary colours*, providing the colour is part of a signed-off creative. Please consult the Brand Team in Marketing.
A white version of the Superdrug stacked logo can be placed on an image only when the background has a clear area of solid colour which is dark enough for the logo to be highly visible.
For more information on colour, please see the Colour section.
*The white out logo should not be
used on these colours from the
secondary palette due to legibility issues.
Exclusion zone
Always follow the exclusion rule – 'S cap height square' to provide a sufficient exclusion zone around the Superdrug stacked logo. The exclusion zone is to be clear from any background image contrasts, other logos, text or graphic devices.
Minimum size
The Superdrug stacked logo will need to be used at small sizes on various applications. It has been designed to be highly legible at a minimum size of 20mm.
Protecting the stacked logo
The Superdrug stacked logo must be treated with respect – never recreated, altered or distorted – and should be applied consistently across every application.
Do not distort
Do not change the
colour of the logo
Do not obstruct the logo
Do not add keylines
or glow effects
Do not fill the star
device with a colour
Do not place the logo on
multi-coloured backgrounds
Do not resize the star in
relation to the Superdrug logo
Do not use the Superdrug
logo within a sentence
Application
The Superdrug stacked logo can be used when larger sizes are required, or when used alongside a third party logo to give more impact. It should be applied bottom right or centre. Always apply it in a consistent way, observing the minimum exclusion zone, shown on page 42.
When applying the brand alongside a third party, always use the Superdrug stacked logo.
The logo should be 25% of the full width of your communication. The preferred position of the logo is in the bottom right hand corner. Alternatively, it can be used centred as a heading or in the centre of the page.
