Primary colour use
In order to maintain consistency, there are two Primary colour uses of the Superdrug master logo. These should be used wherever possible, with the Superdrug Magenta version being the first choice.
The Superdrug Black logo should be used on male dominated communications.
The primary colour version of the master logo can be applied to images only when the background has a clear area and is pale enough for the logo to be highly visible.

For single colour communications or where printing techniques are restricted, the logo should appear either black on white or white on black.
Secondary colour use The Superdrug master logo must only be reproduced from digital master artwork.

The logo may appear in white on any of the solid secondary colours*, providing the colour is part of a signed-off creative. Please consult the Brand Team in Marketing.
A white version of the master logo can be placed on an image only when the background has a clear area of solid colour which is dark enough for the logo to be highly visible.

*The white out logo should not be
used on these colours from the
secondary palette due to legibility issues.
Exclusion zone
Always follow the exclusion rule – 'S cap height square' to provide a sufficient exclusion zone around the Superdrug master logo. The exclusion zone is to be clear from any background image contrasts, other logos, text or graphic devices.
Minimum size
The Superdrug master logo will need to be used at small sizes on various applications. It has been designed to be highly legible at a minimum size of 20mm.

The Superdrug master logo must be treated with respect – never recreated, altered or distorted – and should be applied consistently across every application.

Application
The correct placement of the Superdrug master logo is important. The logo should be positioned in the bottom right hand corner as a sign off or top centre as a heading. Always make sure it is applied in a consistent way. The preferred application of the logo is Superdrug Magenta on a white background. Poster
The logo should be 35% of the full width of your communication. The preferred position of the logo is in the bottom right hand corner. Alternatively, it can be used centred as a heading.
