    Superdrug sales show time stretched Brits are moving to a wipe on, wipe off beauty routine as recent figures show sales of cleansing wipes have doubled (when compared to 2013). Wipes were once the preserve of the baby changing table but in today’s household you’re likely to find wipes in every corner of the home and it is the beauty routine which has seen the biggest change.

  • 16 MARIE CURIE NURSES FUNDED BY CHARITABLE PARTNERSHIP

    Marie Curie Cancer Care today thank Superdrug employees as it’s announced they have raised more than £300,000 for the charity. The impressive sum was presented to Blanka Rathauska, Ward Sister at the Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead by Superdrug’s Healthcare Director, Steve Gray when he recently visited the hospice. Marie Curie is Superdrug’s chosen charity for 2013 and 2014. Over the next two years Superdrug aims to raise enough money to fund the equivalent of 40 Marie Curie Nurses, making it possible for them to provide more care for people with terminal illnesses in their own homes and in the charity’s nine hospices.

  • SUFFERING IN SILENCE…

    Women suffer winter illness in silence, but men are more vocal about their ‘excruciating’ headaches and ‘crippling’ colds, it has been revealed. A study of 2,000 adults commissioned by Superdrug shows that while 79 per cent of women will battle on regardless of their illness, men will moan to all and sundry about their ailments.

  • SHY MEN CONFIDE IN THE WEB

    Figures released today (13 December 2013) by Superdrug’s Online Doctor show that men are turning to the web when looking for help and advice about embarrassing problems such as erectile dysfunction. The confidential nature of the service allows customers to gain expert advice, and order products, which they may otherwise be embarrassed to talk about with their local GP.

    Superdrug is delighted to announce the re- opening of its store in the center of Harborne. The store, which had been closed since 2nd May this year due to a fire in an adjoining property, officially reopened at 9am on Friday, 15th November.
