Product Photography: Cosmetics

On posters and leaflets we can offer more inspirational layouts, e.g.

  • – Falling or scattered products as they may appear on someone’s dressing table.
  • – Show products open or at an angle.
  • – Use spills and swatches to create texture and interest.

Cosmetics should be fun and interesting rather than still. Where possible, highlight the unique selling point of the product and feature that, for example: the brush of the mascara or the bright colour of an eye shadow.

Where relevant, use model imagery to enhance the product benefits.

Product Photography: Skincare

To inspire our customers we can show products in a more creative style, for example:

  • – Adding swatches of spilt product.
  • – Opening the product.
  • – Showing it at a different angle.

Often skincare products will use natural ingredients such as apricot or apple; where possible we should highlight this using props.

Where relevant use model imagery to enhance the product benefits.
