Mugler said he wanted a perfume that smelled of the funfairs of his childhood, of candyfloss, toffee apples and chocolate bars. Olivier Cresp, the perfumer, added another inspired funfair note, patchouli, which reminded him of the bittersweet smell of sawdust.
