Tried every contouring and strobing technique but still can’t seem to get a Kardashian-worthy glow? Well, banana powder might just be what you’re missing…
What is banana powder and what is it used for?
Banana powder is a multitasking yellow-toned powder that sets concealer, neutralises darkness and colour corrects any skin redness – and, apparently, it’s even got the seal of approval of Kim Kardashian’s make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic.
Mario reportedly swears by this fine, loose powder to create a flawless finish on any skin tone – and always uses it on his celebrity clients, such as Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry, for an airbrushed, camera-ready complexion.
How to use banana powder
Banana powder should be used after your foundation and concealer. The pros suggest you apply the fine, loose powder with a beauty blending sponge after pouring a small amount of the powder on to the back of your hand.
Pat the loose powder under the eyes, in the centre of the forehead, over the chin and along the bridge of the nose, and allow to set for 5 minutes before gently buffing any excess into the skin. The result? Brightened, perfectly highlighted skin and make-up that will stay in place all day.
Sounds like a miracle product to us!
