Heidi Klum’s 2014 Haunted Circus

Why is it the party to be at?

No one does Halloween quite like Heidi, so it’s not surprising that the supermodel has earned the title Queen of Halloween. She seriously pulled out all the stops in 2014, wearing an extravagant butterfly costume with gigantic wings and glittery body paint. A haunted circus set the scene as A-list partygoers sipped Halloween-special vodka cocktails, including Ringmaster’s Revenge, The Chic Freak and The Slideshow Spectacular.

Who was there?

Joe Jonas, Ice-T, Zoë Kravitz, Alyssa Milano and Elisha Cuthbert.

Why is it the party to be at?

Kate Hudson threw the party of the year at her LA home in 2013, with her then fiancé Matthew Bellamy. The couple chose to theme the star-studded do around hit HBO series, Game Of Thrones, with Matthew dressed up as GoT hottie, Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington). The hosts built an enclosed winter world (presumably resembling Jon Snow’s journey beyond The Wall), which featured an ice bar for guests to enjoy.

Who was there?

Jessica Alba, Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry, Fergie, Josh Duhamel, Bradley Cooper, Courteney Cox, Suki Waterhouse, Isla Fisher, Sacha Baron Cohen, and, of course, Kate’s mum, Goldie Hawn.

Why is it the party to be at?

The TV presenter is known for hosting the most extravagant Halloween dos, and 2014 was his best. The chat show host transformed his three-storey London home into an enchanted forest, complete with fake trees, pumpkins, gravestones and fog.

Who was there?

Kate Moss, Rita Ora, Jack Whitehall, Nick Grimshaw and Daisy Lowe.

Bette Midler’s annual Hulaween

Why is it the party to be at?

Bette Midler’s annual party, Hulaween (Halloween with a Hawaiian twist, obvs), has been one of the biggest celeb bashes in the business for over 20 years, and has the added benefit of supporting good causes. Midler puts on quite the show for her A-list audience with a personal stage performance, which she no doubt injects plenty of Hocus Pocus spookiness into.

Who goes?

Michael Kors, Blondie, Stevie Wonder, Dita Von Teese and Martha Stewart are all regular guests.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s John Hughes-Themed Hollywood Do

Why is it the party to be at?

At the 80s movie-themed party in 2014, the star hosts dressed up in pig outfits in reference to those worn by the Griswolds in the 1985 classic, National Lampoon's European Vacation. The couple went all out with Halloween decorations, lining the walls of their home with cobwebs, and providing their A-list guests with a Kogi food truck, photo booth, beer pong tables and a bar serving JT’s premium tequila, of course.

Who was there?

Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Bosworth and Chris Martin.

George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila Halloween party

Clooney

Why is it the party to be at?

OK, so not strictly George Clooney’s party, the Casamigos bash (which is thrown in association with a brand of tequila the actor co-owns) is co-hosted with George’s pals Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman. Guests pulled out all the stops on the costume front this year, with Seth Rogan dressed as Super Mario, while co-founder Gerber and his family, including wife Cindy Crawford, showed up as punk rockers.

Who was there?

Channing Tatum, Serena Williams, Gwen Stefani, Lauren Conrad, Lenny Kravitz, Hilary Duff, Gerard Butler, Cindy Crawford and Paris Hilton.
