London Fashion Week kicked off this weekend, and it’s safe to say that backstage is where you’ll find the newest and most exciting beauty looks. From blurred lippy to peach blush, London’s AW17 shows had it all, so here are the best looks they had to offer…

House of Holland AW17

We know this designer doesn’t ever do subtle, but we were blown away by the retro-bling beauty theme found backstage at House of Holland. Careless, colourful eyeshadow paired with nails fit for a 1970s disco was totally where it was at…

Fashion East AW17

It looks as if the peach beauty trend is here to stay, with models’ cheeks looking peachier than ever at the Fashion East show. Forget holding out for autumn – a wash of blush with some hyper-glow highlighter swiped over eyelids, brow bones and tops of cheekbones is a look we’ll be trying straight away!

Julien Macdonald AW17

Kohl liner just got even bolder! Forget tight-lining – it’s time to go bolder than ever and smear kohl all the way up to your brow bone for an ultra-intense, sultry look.

Central Saint Martins AW17

The main attraction at the Central Saint Martins show? Blue brows and lashes separated by a wash of pale glitzy blue colour all over models’ lids, of course. WE. ARE. OBSESSED!

Eudon Choi AW17

We’ll be grabbing the shade of lippy seen at the Eudon Choi show right away. This burnt-orange hue suits pretty much any skin tone perfectly.

PPQ AW17

One of our favourite makeup looks of all time has had a total revival – think Twiggy with a twist. Makeup artists contoured models’ faces before creating the classic 60s supermodel eye look – adding a touch of goth chic with black nails.

Preen AW17

Rather than showcasing a super-defined liner look, models at the Preen shows had red lippy smudged in and around their natural lip line to create a blurred effect. Maybe by autumn we’ll have kissed goodbye to our perfect pouts and be opting for something a little more undone…

Fyodor Golan AW17

It may not be the most wearable look, but we loved the vibrant band of colour across models’ faces at the Fyodor Golan show, paired with a stripped-back neutral base.
