    Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit

First I'll explain how you use it: 1) You put in the wax cartridge in the device. 2) Plug the wire in electrical mains & into the device. 3) Wait 20-30 mins for the wax to get heated. 4) Roll it on your skin in the direction of hair growth. 5) Rub the strip, where you placed the wax, really well: pull immediately and in the opposite direction of hair growth while keeping the strip as parallel to the skin as possible. Now I'll talk about the things that are great about it: I'm quite a girly-girl and I love the pink colour of the device and wax, I like how it doesn't take that long to get the wax heated, I like how there's a stand to put the device on while waiting for it to get heated, the finishing wipes really do remove the stickiness after waxing. I only had one problem with this product, and it was that there weren't enough wax strips (especially for beginners) as they only give 12 strips and I needed more: my hairs are quite strong and thick and I had to wax the same place twice then tweezed the rest (I think epilating is better).

    Economical and long lasting smoothness

I am very satisfied with the long lasting result. I think this device is really economical. One cartridge is enough for up to four wax sessions. You need to repeat waxing only every two or three weeks, because it gives you a long lasting result. So you need to buy one new cartridge in every two or three month. I am a bzzagent and I got this brilliant product for free from Veet.

    Not bad, not not amazing.

I got to try this product free from BzzAgent. I have tried wax strips by Veet in the past but I had never tried an electrical kit. I was excited to try it. I let the product heat and and applied it to my legs. It went on quite smoothly and I used the strips provided. I found that there were not enough strips included for the amount of wax. It produced a lot of waste and meant that I would have to buy more strips for future use. I have sensitive skin and I used the regular wax for my legs. It did come up blotchy and red. I looked like a plucked chicken for a few days. My legs were nice and smooth but this only lasted for about 10 days. I don't know whether I have fast growing hair or if this happens for everyone but I didn't feel it was worth the effort. I might try this product again but I would try the sensitive skin version.

    Mixed Review

I was really excited to be selected by Veet to try out and review the Veet EasyWax system. Regularly visiting a waxing salon to have my legs, underarms and bikini line waxed is expensive and time consuming so a system that allows me to do this in the comfort of my own home is a plus. The Veet EasyWax system comes in an eye catching pink box and contains *An electrical roll on device *A 50ml Easy Wax Refill Legs and Arms *Waxing Strips *Perfect Finish Wipes I also received an additional 50ml Easy Wax Sensitive Refill cartridge for bikini and underarms. As soon as I knew I had been picked to try the system I stopped my regular visits to the salon and grew my leg and underarm hair. I read the instructions before setting the system up, these were quite straightforward and nicely laid out. I chose to start with my underarms therefore I selected the bikini and underarm sensitive cartridge, inserted it into the electrical device and plugged it in to heat. The instructions say heat for 20 minutes with a further 5 minutes if necessary. Unfortunately the wax took 40 minutes before it was hot enough to use. My daughter helped me as underarms are quite tricky. The wax rolled on smoothly and I was quite impressed how painless the process of ripping the waxing strip off was. I would say 80% of the hair was removed in one go but as the width of the cartridge is quite narrow it took 4 applications to do the whole of my underarm. There was a small residue of wax left but this was easily removed by using the finishing wipes. I will definitely use the system for waxing my underarms. Tip - Leave the system plugged in through the whole process as I found the wax cooled quickly once unplugged. Next to be waxed were my legs. I changed the cartridge for the wider leg and arm cartridge which meant I had to wait another 40 minutes for it to heat - it would have been quicker to go to the waxing salon!!! My legs proved to be harder and a lot messier than my underarms and a lot more painful. Even though the wax rolled on smoothly and applied evenly there was a lot more hair left once the waxing strip was removed. Removing hair from a larger area seems to be harder to achieve. I will continue to have my legs waxed at the salon. I think the overall idea is good but the system needs some tweaks, the main one being the time it takes to heat

Sitting on the fence with this...

Application: The wax comes in a cartridge which you insert into the self heating unit. Veet claim that heating time is 20 minutes however I had to wait nearly 30 minutes and it still required some more time. When it was finally ready the wax did apply smoothly and in thin layers. The temperature was just right and caused no discomfort. There are 12 strips included and this was sufficient. The finishing wipes were excellent at removing stray layers of wax. Overall: I'm sitting on the fence with this product due to the fact it does take some time to warm up. The results are very good and last a few weeks but I do enjoy a mess free solution. I would do this again only if I really was in the mood to sit down and spend the time doing this. For me it's not as easy as the instructions portray it to be but I guess those that enjoy home waxing may like this.

Easy wax and no pain no gain !!

I am a Bzzagent and received this product free from Veet in exchange for my honest reviw of the product. Thanks Veet! So here goes I have never waxed at home before so this was a brand new experience for me. The kit was easy to assemble, plug in, wait 30 mins and away you go. The wax applied easily to my legs. I used the cloths to rip the hair off which worked straight away but was very painful. All the wax didnt come off and the wipes didnt help either so ended up using more of the cloths. My legs were silky smooth and hairless. A week later i attempted to was my armpits. The wax was too sticky and was so painful to try and rip off. It left my arms red and still had hairs on. I would recommend this product as is easy to put together, took the hairs off easily on the legs and left them so silky smooth. Such a light weight wax kit also easy to store. So would definately recommned for the legs but not for the arm pits. xx

Definitely use again - quick and easy

Well I've used this a couple of times now and on the whole I'm impressed with a few reservations. I've used pre-waxed strips before and they didn't really remove the hair. I also tried heating my own wax but gave up when it was impossible to spread the wax evenly on my legs. So I was looking forward to trying something which promised the results of the second with the convenience of the first. First off there isn't the problem of trying to judge how hot to make the wax. It really just plugs in and heats itself to the right temperature although the heating time suggested is misleading. It took between 30-35 minutes to heat the wax rather than the recommended 20. Once heated though things got better. It really was easy to roll on the wax and the removal strips work well at catching the hairs. I was very happy with the results on my legs and bikini line. They really were smooth and soft. Apart from the heating time (which didn't bother me as I could just plug it in and do other things) this delivered on it's promises and was very convenient with great results. Having said that there are a few issues - I wouldn't recommend using this for underarms. The wax rolls on easily enough but removing it is fiddly and quite painful. It also only gave mixed results so I had to use a razor anyway to remove the leftover hairs. Also there simply aren't enough removal strips and wipes included and as far as I know there's no option to buy more. So I'm left with quite a lot of wax which I can't use. PS I was sent this product to try for free by Veet but all the opinions are my own.

    Amazing product!!

Amazing product!! So much better than shaving! Took 25 minutes for the wax to heat up and it stayed hot throughout waxing!! Easy application, hairs removed with first wax, great finish with the Veet wipes! No more cuts for me :)

    Bought half price

I have only used this product once ATM. But I'm sure with more practise I will like the product more. At first it wasn't working very well but I then re-read the instructions and relised I was doing it wrong. It took me quite a while before I had finished as I have never home waxed before. I did really struggle with the hairs around my knees and shins. But i think I just need a few more goes at it. For all those that had difficulty removing the left over wax you need to buy some BABY OIL - IT WILL COME OFF LIKE A TREAT WITH THIS STUFF. Just apply to cotton pad first and wipe over wax with a couple of rubs will come right off. It is a good product but if your like me u just need a couple of tries to get the best results from it. At half price is defiantly worth the money. The only real downside is the price of the refill packs. And if your not what u would call skinny then they only last two goes as oppose to the four it suggests.

Left me hairless which is the main gain

I was lucky enough to have been given this product to try for free via BzzAgent. This product is very easy to set up and only took 30 minutes to heat up. The wax went on easily and it ripped the hairs out on the legs quite effectively. Although, it was very painful. All the wax didnt come of either so used the wipes which didnt help. My legs were so smooth and shiny after and hairless which is the main gain. Although I did try to wax my armpits and bikini line with the special wax that came with it but the wax was so sticky and just didnt remove the hairs and left my arm very red and sore. So overall good on the legs but not anywhere else !! But a brilliant little waxing kit for good money. Saves a lot on the salon expense xxx
