I bought this as it was part of a 4 for the price of 3 deal, as I knew I needed some more facemasks. The mask did all it said on the packet. The colour was not as bright orange as shown on the packet, and it smelt of apricots and peach I would have loved it to have a coconut scent too , as that's the first smell I associate with tropical products. As always with Superdrug face masks, the product was good value for money as there was enough quantity to spread a thick layer. Although it advises that the product is to be used more than once and frequently, I prefer to use the whole product up in one go and then buy another packet as this way I avoid trying to store the product properly which I suppose could be difficult as once open the packet has quite a wide opening where air would get in and dry it. One thing I noticed is that the packaging is now easier to open whereas before it had to be cut with scissors. The mask started heating up straight away as soon as I put a tiny bit on my finger, and the overall warming effect was really relaxing and great for use during the winter months (I used it in February).the only thing I found was that even though I left the mask on for a while, it turned into a kind of peel – off, slightly watery texture which I didn't like too much, and don't like too much in face masks in general. I didn't realise this would be the case when I bought the mask. I prefer facemasks that dry completely first before they are taken off, as the end result is cleaner. As a result, it was a bit messy, even though I took it off with a face flannel like I always do. The colour was lighter than on the packet, and as I have visual difficulties I found it hard to get off even when wearing my glasses as I couldn't see exactly where it was on my face, and apply my face masks by touch . As I bought another self heating mask as part of the deal, I think I will try that one first before deciding which self – heating mask I'll buy again in the range. It left my skin feeling soft, but not as soft as others I have tried. This product is part of the new range of Superdrug face masks .Flag this review
This product is amazing! From the minute you out it on till let minute you take it off. I bought this to try and was well worth trying. It smells fantastic, the self hating is amazing and it does wonders to my skin. I have finally found something that makes my skin look amazing and a a very good price. I will defiantly be going back to my local store to try the other ones if they are going to do these wonders to my skin. Would defiantly recommend to friends, family and others.Flag this review

After already trying four of the new range of face masks from Superdrug I went back for more and picked a few different ones to try. The Tropical Smoothie mask stood out for me as I normally like the tropical scents and love the feeling of warmth. (Great on a cold wet day!) It states that this mask will open pores for deep cleansing, nourish and hydrate the skin which should leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. So this is what I would be finding out and hoping for! I always feel better after using a face mask, so much more re-freshed and chilled out. Masks are pretty much straight forward using them, some ask to be applied to dry skin and some to wet. This one requires you to splash face with warm water first and leave wet. While face is still wet you need to rub/massage the product over the face leaving on for ten to fifteen minutes. When massaging this over my face I could feel the warmth straight away which was lovely and certainly made me feel relaxed. The consistency is thinner than a mud mask and does feel somewhat watery when applying to my face, but it stuck in place and didn't slide all down my face. Then scent for me I personally wouldn't class it as tropical the main scent was apricot which was still lovely and smelt gorgeous but I kind of class tropical to have hints of coconut. While this mask was resting on my face I could still feel a hint of warmth but not a whole late which was a shame. Once my fifteen minutes were up it was time to rinse the mask from my face, I always use a wet face flannel at this point as it make it easier to remove. Then a few splashes as water just to make sure I've removed everything and jobs done. I found this easier to remove than other masks like this. My face felt nice and clean and that wonderful sweet apricot scent lingered for a good while too, which is always a plus in my books. To feel my face it was soft and the around my nose where I tend to get clogged pores appeared much cleaner. I did feel the need to moisturise after using this mask as my forehead seemed a little dry.Flag this review
This product smelt nice, went on well and heated up nicely but was a bit runny and I would have liked it more if it had coconut in it, as that is what I associate most with tropical fruit. I bought this to try out the new Superdrug range of facemasks and am not sure if I will buy it againFlag this review
The only good thing about this mask is the smell... feels like glue, sticks like glue but unfortunately doesn't dry.Flag this review
