I'm really surprised at the negative reviews for this product. My hair is dark brown naturally, but is salon-highlighted to dark blonde. This product is brilliant for dark roots (& greys!) between salon visits. Foam is really easy to use too -I use a hard-bristle toothbrush to spread it evenly. The price is relatively hefty (over £10), but as it's re-usable I get 3 uses from 1 box. A lot cheaper than a £60 visit to the salon! I do agree with others about the colour though - on dark brown hair you won't get the colour on the box- mine's now more of a copper/light brown colour than sun-kissed blonde.Flag this review
I have long hair and I thought there would be enough in one box for coverage like it said but it didnt cover even half my head! My blonde hair turned brown, and 1 week later its faded loads. Not good, expensive... wouldn't reccommend. Don't waste your money. Hard to apply too, not smooth. The colour I wanted was medium - dark blonde but it came out medium brown.Flag this review
I lightened my hair initially so my hair was a yellowy blonde when I used this product. It was easy enough to use, I have medium length but thick hair so I had to use the whole canister. Whilst my hair did feel nourished afterwards (the conditioner it comes with is great), the colour just wasn't authentic. My hair is now a golden, reddish blonde instead of being a dark beige as I wanted. Overall, I would not use this product again.Flag this review
I bought this thinking it would be the best thing since sliced bread, seriously. I like to do my roots at home every 3 weeks and as this promised to be a no mix, easy to apply product, I was sold. However, having followed the instructions, the result was that the product did not colour my roots or cover any of my few grey hairs. Essentially there is a flaw in the product. I think it lies within the packaging which is supposed to be mixing the two canisters at once, to produce the ready to use formulae. I am very disappointed with L'Oreal for putting an essentially flawed product on the market. If you are thinking of buying this, yet at the same time thinking that I am a hapless idiot, then have a look at the reviews on another high street drugstore...you'll see that across the shade range, I am not the only person who has had a problem with this product....Flag this review
this product seemed really easy to use so thought would try, it sent my blond hair brown!! and my roots are still grey!! the can clearly has some product left inside it but the nozzles have broke and cannot get the rest out. will be taking whats left of it back and asking for a refund. as for colouring my hair will be going to the hairdressers to get my blond hair back my advise dont waste your money.Flag this review
