I was given LOreal Casting Crème Gloss in dark chocolate to trial for free. I colour my hair on a regular basis so I couldn't wait to try this product out. This ammonia free colourant was easy and clean to apply and the gloves which came with it were good quality. After applying this I was impressed that there was no dripping or running of dye while it was developing, which I have experienced with other colourants. Once I washed the dye off I applied the conditioner it came with, which was thick, creamy with a lovely scent. This casting creme gloss which is enriched with patented conditioning complex to help protect hair fibre, left my hair glossy, soft and best of all grey free. I suffer from psoriasis of the scalp and this colorant didn't irritate it at all and 3 weeks on my colour is as vibrant and glossy as it was when I first did it.Flag this review
This is the only dye I use. I have tried a few different brands and found this one to be the best. It doesn't damage my hair, it doesn't smell bad and it is easy to apply. It covers first grays and stays on for around 4-6 weeks.Flag this review
color came out really really dark, almost black. Not the same as on the box. But the shimmering tones can be seen in natural light and are absolutely gorgeous and in this case are the same to whats on the box. After a few washes this will not appear so dark rather a lovely chocolately color. Pleased with this.Flag this review
Not so much dark chocolate, dull black would be a more accurate description. I have used casting creme (chocolate brownie)before and I am usually quite pleased with the results, but not this time. Will be avoiding this shade in future.Flag this review
The colour comes out a beautiful dark chocolate and is very shiny n viberant so if you dont have grey or light hair its perfect for you but myself who is naturally light and have grey hairs it does not cover it just turns your hair an orangy colour at the roots.Flag this review
A lovely dark chocolate colour leaves your hair very shiny but does not cover greys it turns them orange!!!!Flag this review
