This is a great and easy to use product, it was my first time applying colour and I was able to do so alone. It's a beautiful colour however a note of caution in that it had a slight purple tinge, which wasn't mentioned on the packet, but I think it complimented the overall look nicely.Flag this review
i use 565 for quite some time. this is a lovely colour and i like casting creme gloss because of lack of ammonia. one of my favourites (together with Mahogany 550 and Terracotta 656).Flag this review
Easy to apply, I always get a friend to help me dye my hair so I don't know if it would be harder to do it on your own. I wanted a reddish brown colour and when I saw this in the shop I thought it would be too red but I looked at the guidelines for medium brown hair which showed a more kind of brown colour. However it turned out to be a really dark red with a purple tint. I really liked it but it didn't look like the guidelines on the back. Overall it's a great product if you want your hair to be quite a dark red with a bit of a purple tintFlag this review
I tried this hair colour after previously using l'oreals mahogany hair dye and wanted to go brighter so chose this colour as on the box it looked brighter ( my hair was a ginger colour due to previous red hair dye and is quite curly). However after applying 1 box the colour was dark on my hair after washing and looked nice but after roughly 6 weeks it has faded to a copper colour , I am disappointed as I thought this would be brighter, next time I dye my hair I will go back to mahogany as after using 1 box it was brighter than this berry red hair dye.Flag this review
It works OK, colour fades pretty slowly. On the box it says lasts up to 28 washes but it actually contains bleach so the effects on your hair last forever. I used this 3 or 4 times to cover up my roots while they were growing out. I liked the colour fairly well at first - it's quite rich and dark. After a few washes and long enough for roots to start showing, the colour fades to a flat-looking, paler red. I then used colourB4 hoping my natural colour would be revealed. Instead I've gone ginger because of the small amounts of bleach in this stuff! Lovely. Just a warning really, that if you consider this semi permanent or non-damaging , it isn't. If you don't mind all that stuff and don't mind not being able to get rid of it, then I guess it's pretty good, smells nice, works fast, not too expensive :)Flag this review
I have mid brown hair naturally, and this colour did not come out berry red initially, but almost black! however after a few washes it became more red. I would stress that this product is permanent, although it says it last for up to 28 washes, I would disagree that it is semi permanent.Flag this review
-easy to apply -inexpensive -gorgeous rich/deep red colour -completeted my intention of getting hair the same colour as rose's from the titanic movieFlag this review
