my hair was a dark blonde and I was looking to go a nice Cooper colour similar to the box. l mixed the colour together and it Looked like a Ribena Colour Which i Wasnt too sure about , but i put it On my hair anyway. The mixture is perfect for thick Curly hair like mine past my Shoulder . However When I Washed my hair it Was a very dark Reddy Brown . NOT THE COLOUR I WANTED ! If it is Cooper / ginger hair you Want dont buy this . It also takes A lot longer than 28 washes to get rid Off. I DO NOT RECOMENDFlag this review
I would like to say the 5 is because I have used this new exciting product. But also to represent the fact that as a gingerheaded person, I am so relieved to find a proper colour (not a wild red shade, like so many these days). With the bonus that it has no ammonia.Flag this review
I was looking at a product to lighten my hair and make it look red/ginger and still look natural. This product left my hair looking exactly the same as before! The only good thing about it was the smell,it just smelt like normal shampoo. For the money it makes no difference,I shall be trying a Superdrug brand next time!Flag this review
I used many other Casting colours and they all washed out pretty fast, so perfect for temporary colour change. This time I wanted to go red. Firstly, I was very dissapointed with colour effect - not amber, more like brown with hint of red. Secondly, I wash my hair quite often and becaouse I hated the colour so much I was washing it everyday!!! I washed my hair more than 28 times (as it states on the box that this is how long it lasts) and the ugly red undertone was still there! I wanted to go back to my natural medium blonde, so dyed my hair anyway. The undertone still shows up! The dye I used to get back to blonde is not at fault there, cause it has always given me brilliant results. It is Casting! It doesn't wash off. Its not semi-permanent. Only use it if you are prepared for permanent change! Awful!Flag this review
i normally get my hair dyed with a ginger-y copper colour and i wanted a semi permanent dye that would maintain a decent ginger colour (like the picture on the box displays) between my professional permanent dyes. this product actually did the complete opposite and has made my hair into a brown-y red colour that is at least 4 shades darker than all of the examples on the box display. very disappointed in this product and would not recommend this colour to anyone.Flag this review
The colour is not at all as on the box - more like medium brown with a hint of amber (dyed from dark blonde as reccomended). It also washes off very slowly compared to other Loreal Casting colours. Not happy with it at all. Would not reccomend it.Flag this review
This colour is the closest I could find to my natural colour. I just wanted some extra shine and vibrancy but it has made my hair quite dark it looks almost brown!quite upset right now.Flag this review
Put this on light ginger hair looking to brighten it up a bit, it has come out a really really dark auburn. Not at all the bright shade I wanted. Thank god it is only semi-permFlag this review
