    Excellent hair dye - recommended.

    I must disagree with the other comments posted about this, I found Mousse Absolue was an excellent dye and would certainly recommend. The colour does come up slightly darker than that on the box - but it does clearly state that this is an indication of the colour and individual results may vary! My fine hair is very porous and as such absorbs more colour, so I always do get a darker colour than on the box. If you're unsure of the colour to choose, go for a slightly lighter shade. The dye was really easy to apply, the mousse/ foam mixed really well and went on evenly. I love the two separate chambers keeping the dye apart: this meant that I could save what I didn't use for root touch-ups and my odd stray grey hair. I used just over half of the product - my hair is fine and just below shoulder length - I made sure I followed the instructions and my hair was completely covered from root to tip. I also went over an area where I have a few grey strands as this is the area that tends to fade the fastest. I was impressed with the smell, there was no eye-watering chemical smell, just a fairly pleasant slight hair dye smell. It washed out easily, though this did take a while it generally does when I use hair dye. The conditioner is great, it smells lovely and is really rich and left my hair silky and smooth. As for the price, I think it's very good. Until I had my daughter I paid 4 times this at the salon every 6-8 weeks. Add in the root touch-ups at home (about week 4) and I was spending a lot of money! This innovative product will save me a fortune whilst actually giving a great colour. There was nothing that I did not like or would change about this product.

Please note the following:

  • Order cut-off for all delivery services is 2pm (UK time). Orders placed after 2pm will be treated, for the purposes of delivery, as having been placed the next working day.
  • Working days are defined as Monday – Friday (excluding bank and public holidays) – therefore any orders placed after 2pm on Friday will not be processed until Monday.
  • Delivery will be through Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
  • Larger deliveries may require a signature to confirm receipt. If a signature cannot be obtained, the carrier may ask a neighbour to sign for the delivery. Deliveries that require a signature will not be left if a signature cannot be obtained.
