I was blown away by this product. After reading how much oil its got in it really made me want to try it so I did and wow! The smell is just amazing almost like a floral perfume! Loved the shape of the bottle and the application nozzle is so handy. I had to buy 2 though because I have very think long hair, applying it was easy and enjoyable. .the only werid thing is is that it didn't stain my skin at all, and that's what I expected from a permanent dye so I wasn't sure if the dye would take to my hair fully. And it did so I was happy, turned out a lovely dark colour and not too black. Unlike most permanent dyes stain your skin which is what I was used to. and when I was washing it out OH MY GOD did my hair feel amazing, that was the best part about it how soft it made my hair and no breakages whatsoever! In fact it probably made my hair in better condition. I will definitely be buying this again just for the softness mainly! :)Flag this review
I have never wrote a review for any hair colourant, but Olia dye is so amazing, i couldn't resist to write a review! No smell, no sore scalp, soft, illuminous hair and deep colour. Soft Black is a great shade, it's not 'too black' which is what i love about it. I would recommend it to anyone, and will definitely use only Olia from now on.Flag this review
[...] very helpful instructions on how to mix the product and apply it. The bottle was a great shape and helped for precise application and there was practically no spills! It smelt beautiful: nothing like the eye watering smell of some box dyes. It was extremely easy to wipe off my skin near my hairline using a baby wipe, which made me doubt whether the product was truly permanent but it was! My hair is prone to dryness and the only downside of this product was that it did make tiny bits of my hair go brittle and break off, but nothing too major: however I was disappointed as I didn't expect this to happen due to the oils used in it. The conditioner did make my hair feel soft and it felt soft immediately after washing it out. The colour is great: really even: and it covered a very vibrant ruby red I had previously which is usually hard to cover. Although it did dry my hair out slightly, the end result was great, so I would buy again and recommend to anyone who wants a very dark colour but not totally black!Flag this review
Easy to apply- the same as most box dyes except you have to put the developer crime into the applicator bottle yourself which explains the big box. I bought soft black as I wanted darker than the dark brown 4.0 and it looked brown on the box to me anyway. The bottle could be a little slimmer as my hands are little and it's not got much grip. There was more than enough mixture for my fine armpit+ length hair. I you have thicker hair I would recommend two boxes though. I got a lot on my skin and it was much easier to get off than normal dyes. There was little to no smell, which was nice. It was quicker to wash out and less messy. My hair felt quite dry which was a let down as I would have thought it would be softer due to the oils. The conditioner softened a bit. No enough to get rid of the knots when combing it though! The colour coverage was good. I have no greys, but I had a reddish tinge to my hair which is almost gone now. It is a very dark brown rather than black, which may have been because of my previous colour. My roots were more brown than black though. Overall, I'm not sure I would use it again as foam colours are much easier- but not ammonia free..... It feels better than when I used loreal casting creme gloss. So I might go back! I'm undecided! The plus is that there's no ammonia. But it still drys the hair.Flag this review
if you have very dense fine hair as i do i would whole heartedly recommend this product! my hair came out of the process being softer, and waaaay shinier i couldn't stop touching it and admiring it!! more than enough for my bottom-of-shoulder-blade length hair maybe not enough for thick long hair. this colour is perfect for those who want to go dark without the harshness of black against the skin. the ends may feel sticky or dry before the first wash but the shine and improved texture definitely lasts!Flag this review
