Fantastic all round hair colour. Easy to apply and no strong smell! Very intense red colour and leaves hair in great condition. So many advantages over ammonia dyes. Only reason I didn't give it 5 *'s is because the bottle design is slippery and ridiculous like a bulb shape and sadly with most reds it fades quickly. My hair is shoulder length and very thick so two boxes were needed so worth grabbing two to be sure. Excellent product xFlag this review
I was after a lighter more natural red for the Summer and having grown my mousy brown roots out to a good couple of inches and finally got my hair longer than shoulder length after years of bleach damage, I was worried I'd either end up with a miss-match of colour, or little hair left! The colour has taken beautifully and the fact it is Ammonia free means I don't have to worry about losing the length of my hair to keep it up. I actually free like I've found a product and colour I will stick to. Natural but vibrant!Flag this review
I found the application process a little troublesome, the shape of the bottle makes it difficult to keep a hold of, but I managed! The texture of the mixture is oily and thick, doesn't drip at all! It is a little difficult to spread through the hair, but experienced at-home dyers should manage. It looked like it was going to be a deep coppery auburn when the dye was developing, but when I washed it off it was a beautiful coppery carroty ginger, very vibrant. It washed out easy enough, you just need to make sure you massage your hair for a minute or two before you wash off the dye. Hair felt oily when wet, but when dry it felt normal. My hair is a nice bright copper (applied over pre-lightened hair)and quite shiny too :) quite pleased with olia!Flag this review
I could not find a single review for this shade, but assumed there was not yet reviews because the range is fairly new, although I had read a few good reviews for OLIA, but mostly BAD, I think I should of took note, at the time I put the bad reviews down to colours taking differently on different hair types and the shade of original hair. After stripping the colour of previously dyed hair using colour b4 extra my hair was now a medium brown copper shade. When choosing brand and shade I was trying to decide between feria 7.4 and this one (olia 7.40) I chose the olia as it was new and thought id give it a try, and the fact it promised to be less damaging to hair as was ammonia free. First of all the amount of colour was really skimpy and even though I have short hair above my shoulders there was not enough to cover hair properly and I was rationing. Hair turned out really dry and colour was patchy, dark in parts but bright orange around hairline where hair was slightly lighter, so I could not tie my hair back and had to dye it again. Colour was nowhere near what it claimed to be on the box. Product also overpriced, most expensive one in shop but really not worth it! Don't bother!Flag this review
Very orange, not natural ginger I was looking for. Also my hair came out patchy with some areas brighter and redder which is not a good look. Even though my hair is quite short and there was not enough product to cover it allFlag this review
