The colour itself is ok, although as my hair is part way down my back one box was not enough. The packaging was pretty stupid, as it contained four bottles, the dev cream, the colour cream, the conditioner And an empty mixing bottle. Why waste plastic, would've been better if the dev cream was already in a mixing bottle. It would certainly be easier to use. The mixing bottle is roundish and has a tendency to fall over....so garnier provide a section of the box to push the bottle in to. Ha. You need scissors unless you want to rip the box. Anyway that doesn't hold the bottle very well. At this point I was getting very angry. The dev tube is plastic and quite hard to squeeze, you need both hands. Loved how the instructions show both tubes being emptied into the mixing bottle at the same time, completely impossible unless you are a many armed deity. The mixing bottle is badly designed as no more dye would come out even though it wasn't empty, to finish my hair I had to scrape out the bottle to get that last 50ml out. The dye took forever to rinse, it stains skin very easily too. The conditioner wasn't very conditioning, I had to use my normal one as well. Although the smell of the dye isn't overpowering the smell lingers still after shampooing my hair. Overall a poor product, very environmentally wasteful and difficult to use. Back to the drawing board.Flag this review
